It Fell From the Sky

Some random poetry from my English class that I thought was too bizarre to go to waste:

It Fell From the Sky

It fell from the sky,
Thirty miles high,
From the bright blue above,
To the brown of the earth,
It fell,
Screaming like hell,

And the people pointed,
"It's burning," one shouted,
"It's crashing," some screameth,
But all the same,
Down it came,
Over the mountains and hills,
Over ranches and mills,

It fell,
A craft like a bell,
Onto Roswell soil,
In that July,
It fell from the sky.
And the inspiration for this poem? Why this of course.
